Most think that going to an attorney is more of a process of getting interviewed and to see if the attorney will take a case. This isn’t true- you are the one that should be interviewing the attorney! If you are putting your very life in the hands of another, you should at least be able to choose the best attorney for the job.

Being accused of a felony is a serious problem in the state of California. After all, once you receive three of them you are on grounds for serving a long prison term and facing severe penalties. Even if you can’t afford an attorney, finding a way to do so is important because of the critical penalties at stake.
